Responsibilities included:
Initiating and conducting investigations of criminal activity; advising the Hampden County Narcotics Task Force as to legal questions arising from their investigations; preparing various types of criminal cases to the Hampden County Grand Jury; assisting the Hampden County Grand Jury in their independent investigations; assisting and advising other staff members as to trial tactics, methods and procedures; assisting and advising on the formation of recommendations for various participants in larcenous schemes, drug trafficking, and other cases involving multiple defendants. Received additional specialized training in the field of arson investigations, use of expert witnesses, forensics, motor vehicle accident reconstruction, including the effects of drug and alcohol ingestion upon motor reflexes and impaired operation.
